TWO PREMIERES, TWO CONTINENTS
In the summer of 2010 Lynch Company created BODA BODA, a dance theatre work made on location in Kampala, Uganda. The work chronicled the life of the motorcycle taxi drivers of East Africa called BODA BODA. Featuring both Danish and African artists the work premiered at the National Theatre of Uganda on August 28 and then toured Denmark as part of the arts festival, IMAGES OF MY WORLD (www.dccd.dk).
The second premiere was SWITCH VAMPYR, and was performed as part of the Dansescenen festival, THE BIG INTENSIVE. A dance performance on the theme of vampirism, the work featured the actor Charlotte Munck and dancers Tiziana Fracchiolla, Heloise Vellard and Wubkje Kuindersma.
